The Chapmans from Missouri USA have taken their place among the best and brightest in a new century of American bluegrass by balancing a demanding touring schedule with an award-winning recording career. Brothers Jeremy, Jason and John, together with their father Bill, have taken their efforts in the studio to new heights of emotion, storytelling and musicianship with "Simple Man," the band's third album for Pinecastle Records,(due out in April 2005). "Simple Man" fulfills the promise of 1999's "Notes From Home" and 2001's "Follow Me," which established the Chapmans as rising stars in the genre and earned them the Emerging Artist of the Year award from the International Bluegrass Music Association.
