The Rustic Harmony Band was formed in the early 90's and started recording and playing festivals in 1994. Their collection of recordings include old-time country, bluegrass and mountain music made fresh and new by the duet style of Len and Allan. Their style is similar to that of the Louvin Brothers, The Blue Sky Boys and Jim and Jesse.
Rustic Harmony has been nominated 3 different times for their recordings at the E.C.M.A.'s. They currently have 7 recordings, with many of the songs written by Allan and Len. Len Hicks plays guitar and sings lead and low harmony, while Allan Robichaud plays dobro, harmonica, lead and tenor vocals. He is also 5 time winner of the dobro player of the year by Eastern Canada Bluegrass Association. Pat Ann Hicks plays the solid sound of the acoustic bass and Carmen Jackson gives them the sweet sounds of the mandolin. Rustic Harmony continues to play bluegrass festivals in Eastern Canada and the USA and look forward to seeing and entertaining their many friends and fans in the upcoming festivals.
