Landry's/Eddie Poirier

The Landry Family is composed of twelve-old Allison, and fourteen-year-old Alexander, great grandchildren of Canadian fiddling icon, Ned Landry and their dad, Terry.  In a short time, this family has become very popular with their fiddling, step dancing, vocals, harmonica playing and Allison’s yodeling.  The family has performed throughout Eastern Canada with their energetic style of music.  In 2007, the Landry’s released their debut CD, “The Fiddling Landry’s”.

Eddy Poirier, an exceptional New Brunswick Fiddler is a well-known music artist, and is considered as exceptional in the maritimes. He was born in the Rogersville Area and is a multi-instrument musician. He plays fiddle, accordion, mandolin, guitarist and five-string banjo. He's also the leader of the award-winning Bluegrass 4, one of Canada's most successful bluegrass bands, and is called upon in New Brunswick from time to time to represent Irish fiddling in the region.

People can see Eddy playing at outdoor concerts and , playing in his home or in his workshop repairing fiddles and other musical instruments
