ANNOUNCING THE NEW JANET MCGARRY & WILDWOOD
Five time ECBA female vocalist of the year Janet McGarry is pleased to announce the addition of two excellent new members to “Wildwood”. The lovely and talented Naomi Doncaster, daughter of Brian and Marlene Doncaster (The Music Barn) will be playing the bass and sharing lead and harmony vocals. Naomi is a very talented young lady. At seventeen, she already has a strong background in bluegrass music. She is proficient at playing bass, fiddle, guitar and more recently, mandolin. Naomi says “the best graduation present was an invitation to join Janet McGarry & Wildwood”.
Also Joining Janet McGarry & Wildwood on lead guitar as well as sharing lead and harmony vocals is Kyle Legere. Throughout his bluegrass journey he gradually learned different instruments including bass, mandolin and banjo. He has developed a warm blending harmony voice and a smooth baritone lead vocal. Kyle is excited to pursue the roll of lead guitarist for Janet McGarry & Wildwood.
Janet and Serge recognized great talent, stage presence, warm personalities and professionalism in this young couple and are very excited about discovering new sounds and vocal blends that will carry the band to even greater audiences.
